And, lo, Satan made all their doings seem goodly to them, and said, "No one can overcome you this day, for, behold, I shall be your protector!" but as soon as the two hosts came within sight of one another, he turned on his heels and said, "Behold, I am not responsible for you: behold, I see something that you do not see: behold, I fear God-for God is severe in retribution!"
And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in punishment
Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment."
And when the Shaitan made their works fair seeming to them, and said: No one can overcome you this day, and surely I am your protector: but when the two parties came in sight of each other he turned upon his heels, and said: Surely I am clear of you, surely I see what you do not see, surely I fear Allah; and Allah is severe in requiting (evil)
Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said, None of the people shall prevail against you this day; I shall be your protector! But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, saying, This is where I leave you: I see what you do not, and I fear GodGod is severe in His punishment
And mention when Satan made to appear pleasing their actions to them and said: No one will be ones who are victors against you this day from among all personages. And, truly, I will be your neighbor. But when the two factions sighted one another, he receded on his two heels and said: Truly, I am free of you. Truly, I see what you see not. Truly, I fear God. And God is Severe in repayment.
So Satan made their actions seem attractive to them, and said: ´There will be no man who will overcome you today: I´ll stand close by you." Yet as both detachments sighted one another, he wheeled around on his heels and said: "I am innocent of you; I see something you do not see! I fear God, and God is Severe in punishment."
And ˹remember˺ when Satan made their ˹evil˺ deeds appealing to them, and said, “No one can overcome you today. I am surely by your side.” But when the two forces faced off, he cowered and said, “I have absolutely nothing to do with you. I certainly see what you do not see. I truly fear Allah, for Allah is severe in punishment.”
Satan made them think they were doing the right thing. He told you, "No one can overcome you today because I am with you," but as soon as the two forces came within sight of one another, he turned around and said, "I am not responsible for you. I see something that you do not see. I am afraid of God. God is severe in punishment."
And (remember) when Satan made their evil deeds seem fair to them and said: “No one from mankind can overcome you this day (battle of Badr), and surely, I am your neighbor (to help).” Yet, when the 2 forces came in sight of each other, he ran away on his heels and said: “Surely, I have nothing to do with you. Surely, I can see what you don’t see. Surely, I fear Allah for Allah is Severe in punishment.”
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds seem fair unto them, and said, “None among mankind shall overcome you today, and I am indeed your defender.” But when the two hosts saw each other, he turned on his heels and said, “I am quit of you! Truly I see what you see not. Truly I fear God, and God is severe in retribution.
And the devil adorned their work for them, and he said: "None from mankind can defeat you today, and I am by your side." But when the two forces came together, he turned on his heels to flee and he said: "I am innocent from you! I see what you do not see. I fear God, and God is severe in punishment."
Satan made their foul deeds seem fair to them, and said, ‘No one will conquer you today, for I will be right beside you,’ but when the armies came within sight of one another he turned on his heels, saying, ‘This is where I leave you: I see what you do not, and I fear God- God is severe in His punishment.&rsquo
And recall what time the Satan made their works fair- seeming unto them and said: there is none of mankind to overcome you to- day, and verily I am your neighbour. Then when the two parties faced each other, he turned on his heels, and said: verily I am quit of you, verily I behold that which ye behold not; verily I fear Allah: and Allah severe in retribution

And when Satan made their works appear seemly to them, and said, "There is none amongst mankind to conquer you to-day, for, verily, I am near you." But when the two armies came in sight of each other, he turned upon his heels (took flight) and
And as Ash-Shaytan (The all-vicious "one", i.e., the Devil) adorned their deeds to them (i.e., made their deeds attractive to them) and said, "Today not one of mankind will overcome you, and surely I am your neighbor." Then as soon as the two communities sighted each other, he retreated on his heels and said, "Surely I am quit of you; surely I see what you do not see; surely I fear Allah; and Allah is strict in punishment."
Satan made their (pagans') deeds seem attractive to them and said to them, "No one today is more powerful than you and I am your supporter." But when the two armies confronted one another and the pagans were defeated, then satan betrayed his friends saying, "I am not with you any more; I see what you do not see and I am afraid of God." God is severe in His retribution
When the Satan made their deeds look beautiful to their eyes, and said, .None of the people can overpower you today, and I am a protector for you. But, when the two groups faced each other, he turned back on his heels and said, .I am quit of you. I am seeing what you do not see. I am scared of Allah, and Allah is severe in punishment
There was a group of Satanic conspirators, the hypocrites, who praised the disbelievers' actions, "You cannot be overcome by any people today, and we will be fighting along with you as allies." But as soon as the two armies came face to face, they turned back on their heels and fled, saying, "We disown you, We see what you don't. We are afraid of Allah Who has instilled faith in the hearts of the believers. Allah is strict in punishment."

Satan made their opposition fair seeming in their eyes and said: “Today no body can defeat you as I am with you!” As soon as you and your enemies [in the battle of Badr] engaged in the fight [and Satan saw the angels coming to help], he ran away and said: “I do not have anything to do with you. They were befooled by AL-Shaytan and those with characteristics befitting him who allured them to brighter worlds as a logical result and sequence to their doings and led the way. "Rest assured ", AL-Shaytan said, " that no man can overpower you today in battle and I will be by your side". But when the two forces met** he turned on his heels and reversed his position declaring his innocence of their ills, and said: "I see with my mind's eyes what you cannot see; I fear Allah Whose torment is laid upon the damned"
And when the devil made their deeds fair seeming to them and said, "No human being can overcome you this day and I am certainly your protector." But when the two groups came in sight of each other he turned upon his heels saying, " I am free of you, I see that which you do not see, I certainly fear Allah, and Allah is severe in requiting (evil)."
